Manufacturing Financial Assistant

• Accounting up to Trial Balance
• Debtors/Creditors
• Banking
• General Ledger Reconciliations
• VAT (general understanding)
• Process bank statements into Syspro and bank reconciliation reports
• Process cheque and EFT requisitions.
• Foreign cash on hand check and counts.
• Loading new creditors on Standard Bank
• Loading payments and completing verification on Standard Bank.
• Check GRN to Deliveries for component suppliers for processing in Syspro.
• Process local and foreign payments in Syspro.
• Check purchase order to delivery note to invoice and processing of invoices in Syspro.
• Complete local and foreign creditor reconciliations.
• Completing debtors accounts reconciliations.
• Processing debtor payments.
• DA190 spreadsheet maintenance for submissions quarterly.
• Reconciliation of delivered vs. invoiced from MySils.
• Scanning and e-mailing weekly UTI shipments received for foreign import components.
• Custom Duty Reconciliation to MICB listing.
• Processing assets acquired/taken on.
• Balancing asset register to Syspro.
• Completing VAT reconciliation for refund/payment.
• STATS SA monthly report.
• Update monthly reports for Electricity, Water and Paper consumption.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• HR - Attendance register, balance leave days with payroll.
• Payroll / Clock in system
• Reconcile, consolidate and submit weekly Clock-In reports to chief Payroll Officer for payroll processing

Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12
• Bookkeeping / Accounting qualification
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role from a manufacturing environment
