Mandarin (Chinese) Translator

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree
• Preferred 1-3 years’ working experiences
• High motivation, wiling to learn, teamwork, logical thinking, pressure containment, with strong communication skills
• Able to work in a multicultural environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide consecutive interpretation between spoken South African and spoken Chinese
• Provide translation for project materials and production documentation between English and Chinese
• Assist in training exercises for both English and Chinese languages
• Provide general office support to plant staff (including but not limited to photocopying, distributing mail/faxes, scanning, faxing, preparing slides/overheads, coordinating document destruction, checking expense reports of local dept staff)
• Support travel arrangements for plant staffs
• Manage plant stationery supply
• Organize meetings/teleconference/net-meeting for plant staff
