Job Duties:
- Manage and oversee the operations of a small high-end camp in Northern Cape.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the camp staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure the camp facilities are well-maintained and meet high-quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain guests.
- Manage budget, expenses, and financial aspects of the camp.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Conduct Game drives and walks, assist with small maintenance issues report large issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Standard guiding qualifications, FGASA level 2-3 and trails.
Education:
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management Guiding Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position in the hospitality industry as well as guiding experince in Big 5 areas.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of camp management principles and practises.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Lead guided experince to the guests needs. Guest experience comes first, to tailor make the experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in Hospitality Management or related fields.
- Experience working in luxury or high-end hospitality establishments.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a remote camp setting in Northern Cape, requiring flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to varying guest demands and preferences.
