SUMMARY:
Our well known client in the financial industry is looking for a Financial Business manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Academic Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Finance/Management Accounting (Honours would be advantageous)
Finance Background (CA or CIMA)
Work experience:
7 Years’ experience in a similar role (supporting a business with financial management, vendor management, risk management, total cost of ownership, stakeholder engagement at all levels, human resource management).
Finance background
Essential skills:
Sound understanding of accounting principles, ability to engage with senior executives on business/financial related matters, sound knowledge of TCO (total cost of ownership) principles, planning (incl. financial, resourcing, forecasting), human resource management, engaging with suppliers
Experience:
Cost management, planning / forecasting as well as experience with Transfer Pricing and recoveries of costs
Preferred attributes: Resilient, self-starter, ability to identify and solve complex business related problems (in the context of the business manager role), assist the CIO with day to day business management (incl. finance, procurement, business decision-making, where required)
