SUMMARY: STUDENT AFFAIRS DIVISION Manager: Residences: Ref No 165 Alice and East London Applications are invited from qualified and experienced candidates for the above- mentioned permanent post in the Residence Unit – Student Affairs Division.
POSITION INFO: MINIMUM REQUIREMENT, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED: · M+4 Qualification · Three to Five years supervisory are managerial relevant experience in the higher education sector · Good knowledge of university procedures and policies · Financial management skills · Possess knowledge on National and International trends in student life, residence operations and student development practices and theories · ITS Proficiency and other computer programmes · Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem solving skills · Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple tasks. · Demonstrated experience in, or ability, to manage, lead and support a multi-task team across campuses · Ability to develop and maintain effective and efficient administration systems. · Involvement in running Arts and Culture activities within residences KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS · Strategy Implementation · Management of Residences and the allocation process · Financial Management · Development of co-curricular activities · Development of academic support programmes NB: The Manager will be based in Alice though the incumbent will be expected to render services at all University of Fort Hare campuses.
