SUMMARY:
Manager: Dealer Sales (KZN)

POSITION INFO:

Reporting to the Head: East Coast Region, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales targets and relationships amongst Dealer Groups and Fitment Centers for the Dealer Channel at a Regional KZN level.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

vDefine and drive the implementation of sales initiatives for the client dealer and fitment center business to maximize sales growth in both channels.
vPositively influence the distribution network to achieve the business objectives through a formulated and effective sales plan.
vAssist and guide the regional offices with their sales roll out and servicing the national group accounts.
vBuild sustainable relationships within the dealer industry and Fitment Centers, identify and maximize growth opportunities.
vLead the Sales teams in the dealer industry, providing leadership, management of targets, performance management and customer service.
vLeadership and development of staff on a regional basis.
vThe ability to analyze the current and future needs of the business and to formulate sales strategies accordingly.

 

Skills Experience and Education:

vMatric with a Business Qualification such as Diploma / Degree in Financial Management or similar Management Development Programme would be advantageous.
vMinimum 5 years Management experience of Field Sales team with minimum of 6 direct reports.
vMust have 12 years’ experience in the dealer industry and working with Partners.
vExperience in utilizing formal Sales Methodologies in sales execution.
vExtensive experience in managing and engaging with Executives, Senior Managers, Managers and Staff.
vAbility to deal with customers at Operational and Executive level.
vExcellent written and verbal communication.
vStrategic, intellectual and analytical abilities.
vResult and action orientated.
vAbility to work under pressure.
vConsultative style with influencing ability.
vHigh degree of emotional intelligence with strong leadership skills.
vMust have a valid driver’s license.
