Manager Company Compliance

Our client has an opportunity available for a Manager of Company Compliance.

Requirements:

• Have an NQF level 7 degree in LLB- a degree in LLM would be advantageous.
• 3 years’ experience in a Legal Law Firm- experience in a Compliance related function would be advantageous.
• 10 years’ experience as a Corporate Legal Advisor.
• Have experience working with government-regulated entities.
• Strong legal experience in corporate and commercial matters.

Responsibilities:

• Providing advice to the board on compliance matters as well through collaborating with Line Manager and Team.
• Legislation monitoring and tracking.
• Ensure the new legislation is incorporated into the regulatory compliance framework processes.
• Customer and stakeholder management.
• Engage internal customers and stakeholders on services and deliveries related to development controls.
• Cost control and budget management.
• Determine project forecast for the year ahead and provide annual input into CAPEX /OPEX business plan/budgets.
• Compliance framework management.
• Identify legislative and governance compliance obligations that are relevant to the company to ensure license to operate is secure.
• Legislative compliance reporting.
• Identify companywide compliance processes and controls to assist the business with legislative and governance compliance.
• Compliance awareness and education.
• Develop and roll out compliance training initiatives to ensure business empowerment to support the framework requirements.
