Job & Company Description:
 
 
Urgently looking for a technical savvy professional with intense experience within the retirement fund space and previous exposure in procurement, to join this renowned client of mine within financial services. This 2 month long contract opportunity is available for a creative individual who is an out of the box thinker and ready to hit the ground running in assisting with establishing a brand new finance team.
 
You will be responsible for the following:
 
  • Preparing reports, budgets and financial statements
  • Undertaking financial administration and internal audits
  • Developing and managing financial systems/policies
  • Negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects
  • Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
  • Assisting with procurement and facilities management process
  • Creating business strategies to generate shareholder value 
 

Qualifications:
  • Completed B. Com degree
 
 
Skill and Experience:
  • 5+ years’ experience within a similar role
  • Previous experience managing a small team
  • Full understanding of the full cycle of RFP's and RFQ's
  • Experience working on Everest
