POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Financial Management - preferably CA
• Minimum 5 years of progressive cost accounting and/or analysis experience, ideally within a large manufacturing organization
• Knowledge of management accounting and cost and inventory accounting.
• Ability to manage projects and work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and across multiple functions.
• Management reporting: Must be able to analyse and filter complex data to provide an effective update to line management and escalate as appropriate
• IT: Must have Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Oracle IT system (desired)
• Results driven: Know how to prioritize (i.e., tackle biggest high impact issues first) and when to escalate to help resolve major customer or vendor issues.
• Complexity requires incisive analysis and clear forward thinking and enable swift action

Key Performance Areas:

• Ensure that there is a clear link between the OTC strategy, the priorities, and the operational execution of company resources including tracking business/operational results.
• Assist with preparation and analysis of statutory financial statements/external audits.
• Coaches Leadership in financial knowledge, optimal use of information systems to optimize costs, business outcomes and improve financial implications of decision making.
• Represent accounting controls with key business partners through effective communication with cross functional international teams.
• Discover areas for process improvements and manage projects that will yield efficiency.
• Actively supporting strategic decisions, overseeing month end processes and statement preparation, interacting with key business stakeholders, and advising on financial decisions.
• Provide business support and analysis to deliver value-add and ROI.
• Delivers the key metrics by which the manufacturing site makes decisions and builds strategies - pricing, margin analysis, costing reports, develop site budgets and forecasts.
• Manage financial compliance process for site/Factory.
