A leading supplier and manufacturer of brick and paving supplies is looking for an experienced finance professional to join their finance team as a Management Accountant. The organization supplies its products both locally and internationally to countries namely USA and Singapore.

A leading supplier and manufacturer of brick and paving supplies is looking for an experienced finance professional to join their finance team as a Management Accountant. The organization supplies its products both locally and internationally to countries namely USA and Singapore.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Management Accountant will be responsible for all the accounting functions for alliances, factories, and centers daily. The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing accounts, financial planning, and budgeting, reporting of budget variances, cost control and cost analysis programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiles, maintains and reports on Company’s financial and accounting data for these operations and reconcile alliance stocks and sales and initiates payment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and budgeting, forecasting, stock reconciliation, year end audits and property management.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Accounting
Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles is preferred
Studying towards CIMA/Completed CIMA

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 4-5 years’ post article experience in a similar role
Experience in the manufacturing/construction/engineering industries is preferred
Experience dealing with the finances of multiple factories
Experience with stock reconciliations and alliance payments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline orientated and strong analytical skills
Experience dealing with large turnovers
Ability to work under pressure
