Management Accountant

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years working experience
• Articles would be advantageous
• Microsoft Office, highly proficient in Excel with a minimum advanced level of skill
• Experience with Business Central/Accounting systems and CRM systems will be advantageous
• BCom Accounting/Management Accounting/ FinancialAccounting essential
• Honours would be advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Cash-flow managemnet
• General Accounting
• Monthly Creditors Management
• People Management
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Projects
  • Perform projects as determined by the Head of Finance of the Aspire Management Team
• Product pricing
  • Making recommendations to CFO on improving profitability of products
  • Have relevant discussions with department heads to determine pricing inputs
• Governance and Compliance
  • Development of financial policies and processes for companies within the group
  • Assess adherance to financial policies regarding out-of-budget expenditure and cash-flow variances and ensure governance processes are followed
  • REsponsible for tax submissions in accordance with timelines
• Monthly Management Accounts
  • Prepare and send out final monthly Management accounting reports to managers
  • Prepare and process journals to allocate costs across divisions
• Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Assist CFO with preparing budgets for various business unit heads
  • Assist CFO with building forecast models for the business in order to provide management with efficient and accurate information
  • Importing budget forecasts into Business Central/Forecast system
  • Highlight discrepencies between forecast and acruals
