SUMMARY:
A leading insurance provider is searching for a Management Accountant with Short Term insurance exposure to join their pioneering Finance Team.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce degree, and
Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree,

Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Financial Accountant or Management Accountant position within the Short Term insurance space.
Advanced proficiency in excel.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Preparation of monthly Underwriting Income Statements and reconciliations.
Responsible for Variance analysis against budget of previous year.
Review of monthly Balance sheet Reconciliation, AMS bordereaux reports, and monthly commission run.
Preparation of monthly management and board reports.
Ad hoc reporting as required by management
