SUMMARY:
Management Accountant (1 year contract)

POSITION INFO:

This person will play an important role in a global team supporting financial planning, reporting and analysis. This role will support the Manager in ensuring timely submission of monthly reporting pack to management, Quarterly Forecasting, annual Business plan and managing the fixed asset portfolio amongst many other activities expected on day to day basis. Responsibilities will include: Support the month end process ensuring all transactions have been validated, posted, discrepancies reconciled, and all pending issues resolved prior to generation of Trial Balance; Scan through all GL postings to ensure transactions are properly recorded into the correct GL account and department; Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance. You must have a university degree with no less than 4 years working experience. This role is a 1 year contract with an international telecommunications organisation and is based in Joburg North. You must be available immediately.
