POSITION INFO:
Minimum Qualification: 
Matric 
Engineering /Maintenance Related Qualification 
Requirements, skills & abilities: 
5 years experience in similar role within a machine maintenance environment 
Prepared to work in a harsh fast paced production environment 
Strong mechanical aptitude 
Knowledge of General Machinery Regulations 
Ability to work independently 
Proficiency with manual and power tools 
Computer Literacy 
Good communications skills 
Planning and Organisational Skills 
Pay close attention to detail 
Troubleshooting skills 
Problem-solving and analytical Skills 
Ability to handle multiple tasks 
Ability to perform physical activities 
Ability to handle pressure 
Bilingual 
Code 8 driver’s lisence 
Clear criminal record 
The following will form part of duties: 
Repair and maintain all Workshop equipment and machinery to minimise downtime inclusive of but not limited to: 
Punch machines, Welding Machines, Overhead cranes, Laser machines, Plasma machines, Roller and, Bending 
machines 
Attend to machine breakdowns 
Execution of planned and preventative maintenance and repairs on machines, equipment, and facilities 
Handle the refurbishment and modification to existing machinery and equipment 
Order spare parts 
Report deterioration and wear and tear on machinery, equipment, and facilities 
Report any potentials problems that could lead downtime in the Workshops 
Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety rules and standards
