SUMMARY:
We are looking to employ a Maintenance Technician on a 3 - 6 month contract basis for a Dyehouse based in Cape Town

POSITION INFO:
Ideal Profile:

Qualified Boilermaker, Mechanical Fitter or Millwright with a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience within a manufacturing/production environment.

Technical Scope:
You will be responsible for:

Welding
Pumps
Pressure vessels
Steam pipes
Legal requirements
Boilers
Seals
Milling
Planned maintenance
Spare part control

Experience:

Experience in textile machinery and maintenance thereof (Would be an advantage)
Good IT skills: MS Office
Knowledge of working on a lathe and milling machine
Arc welding
Some electrical PLC knowledge

Qualifications Required:

Matric with mathematics and science.
Relevant certificate or diploma in Mechanical Fitting or Engineering

Physical Requirements:

Able to work overtime when required.
Physically active.
Good eyesight/hearing.
