SUMMARY:
Seeking a qualified Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Technician from the food manufacturing industry

POSITION INFO:
Qualification

Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance

Requirements

Minimum 2 – 5 years’ proven experience in a food FMCG manufacturing environment responsible for ensuring that all production equipment and utilities are maintained, repaired, and operating efficiently to support safe, high-quality food production.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required.

Duties

Perform planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on production machinery
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Ensure equipment complies with food safety, hygiene, and safety standards
Minimize downtime through effective fault-finding and rapid response
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning
Follow HACCP, GMP, and health & safety procedures.
Work closely with production and quality teams to improve equipment performance
