Maintenance Supervisor

SUMMARY:
A Witbank based Water Processing and Engineering firm is looking for a qualified & experienced candidate to take on the role of Electrical Artisan and Maintenance Supervisor. This person must be Electrically strong and have previous experience working with Pumps and panels and be able do do faultfinding.

POSITION INFO:
The incumbent will be responsible for the day to day supervision and management of the various Water and Wastewater treatment systems to ensure that water and wastewater facilities are operated and maintained efficiently and in accordance with contractual requirements and relevant standards or regulations. All procurement, scheduling, reporting and associated activities to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
- At least Grade 12 and relevant tertiary education (Electrical Artisan)
- Preferred language: Afrikaans or English
- 3-5 years working in a Senior position. 
- MUST have a valid drivers licence. 

SKILLS REQUIRED: 
- Individual must be able to do electrical terminations in an Electrical DB up to 380V
- Be able to do fault finding on electrical panesl by process of elimination.
- Be able to install or remove electrical components from electrical DB, e.g. contactors, overloads and timers.
- Will be required to wire pumps and inspect pump wiring and must be able to wire 220V and 380V pumps correctly.
- Reporting writing and job cards. 
- Be able to read and understand electrical drawings and make changes to electrical control panels. 
- Must be able to work as a Team Supervisor and oversee a maintenance team of about 20.
