SUMMARY:
Join a market-leader in the food processing industry. Use your experience in the food-processing industry to form part of a dynamic maintenance team in which you will be given the opportunity to grow personally and professionally all the while working on exciting expansion projects.

POSITION INFO:

Executing and assisting in compiling of preventative maintenance plan

Pumps, circuits and electrical motors maintenance and repairs

Variable speed drives and soft starters maintenance and repairs

Attend to machine breakdowns

Commissioning of machinery

Report to and provide feedback to Maintenance Manager

Mentor a team of junior artisans

Assist in providing effective communication between production and maintenance departments

Monitoring and ensuring personal targets are reached

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 - 5 year’s maintenance experience

Ammonia refrigeration experience essential

Experience within a Food Processing Environment (Mandatory)

Must have a strong electrical understanding

Experience in PLC fault finding beneficial

Computer literacy advantageous

Microsoft Excel proficiency

Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Qualification:

Trade Tested Millwright

Any further studies advantageous

Refrigeration qualifications highly advantageous
