SUMMARY:
About the Role
Our client, a well-established automotive manufacturing company, is looking for a competent Maintenance Millwright to join their Durban plant. In this role, you’ll ensure machinery runs smoothly, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and work closely with the maintenance team to support efficient operations.

POSITION INFO:

Must Have:

Trade Test Millwright qualification
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Hydraulic experience is essential
Strong electrical knowledge
Ability to read machine blueprints
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently

Key Responsibilities:

Attend to mechanical and electrical breakdowns
Install and commission machinery and equipment
Perform planned and unplanned maintenance
Manage spare parts inventory
Support maintenance projects and ad hoc tasks
