Maintenance Manager BSc Engineer electrical and mechanical subjects R500 - R600KCTC 70% Jhb and 30% Durban

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities

Degreed Engineer, Must come from the food manufacturing industry sector with at least 3 - 5 years''''experience in the maintenance of the manufacturing equipment. Food Safety HACCP training - how it affects food manufacturing and equipment certification. Driver''''s license. Preventative maintenance plans and SOPS. Managing external service providers on large jobs. Ordering and maintaning minimum stock levels of critical spares. Managing and controlling job cards. Allocaton of staff and resoucres maintnenance and breakdowns. General staff anagement Obtaining and approving quotations for major maintenance duties. Compliance with FSC, Food Safety and Quality Assurance requirements. All safety matter issues and as they relate to equipment.

Position available immediately. There may be some shift work (currently a day shift) with weekends work as the exception. Envisaged an average 2 Saturdays per month, rough estimate only. All weekend work is remunerated as overtime, additional to the package.

Degreed Engineer with GMR 2. Preferably strong engineering skills. Must come from the food manufacturing industry sector with at least 3 - 5 years''''experience in the maintenance of the manufacturing equipment. Food Safety HACCP training - how it affects food manufacturing and equipment certification. Driver''''s license. Prior expereince working with Hazard Analysisi and Critical Control points and how it affects the food manufacturing equipment certification, commissioning and decomissioning.
