Maintenance Manager

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the agricultural industry based in Kirkwood is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Manager provides leadership and is responsible for, although not limited to:

• Supervising and leadership
• Ensuring the safety of team members and contractors
• Adherence to OHSA guidelines
• Maintenance Planning and scheduling
• Employee relations
• Productivity of crew members and quality control
• Effective management of the Maintenance administrative function.
• Custodian of the computerised maintenance system.

Requirements:

• Trade tested Millwright / Electrician / Fitter and Turner
• A degree or diploma in one of the engineering disciplines will be an advantage.
• Efficient use of MS office and email
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of production equipment and associated plant services

Relevant experience:

• Minimum of 10 years maintenance management experience within a medium to large production / materials handling environment.
• Working Knowledge and experience in the interpretation and enforcement of the OHS act and regulations.
• Lead, organise and control a team (with prior experience being an added advantage)
• Experience in managing capital projects.
