SUMMARY:
Our FMCG client in Mpumalanga has a position for a day-shift Maintenance Foreman.

A trade tested Millwright or Electrician with at least 5 years’ experience in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing plant environment will be suited to this position. Candidates must have supervisory experience and be capable of people management, negotiation, and disciplinary handling.

Applicants must be in possession of a Wireman’s License. In-depth knowledge of PLC’s, SCADA, HMI, instrumentation & high voltage switching is essential. Additional training in FSSCC, OHS Safety, First Aid & Firefighting is to your advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising machine & technical performance, the packing department, planning & performing preventative maintenance, managing all mechanical & electrical breakdowns, budget preparation, and managing staff.

Requirements:
Matric
Red Seal Trade Test (Millwright / Electrician)
Wireman’s License
Computer Literate (MS Excel essential)
Excellent communication skills & financial / administrative acumen
