Maintenance Foreman - Power Generation

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Agricultural sector, has an opportunity available for a Maintenance Foreman - Power Generation in the Dalton, KZN area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Matric with Maths and Science
• National Trade Test or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• More than 5 years’ experience in planned maintenance systems
• Extensive experience using planned maintenance systems, especially Maximo
• Experience in boiler maintenance and operations will be beneficial
• Experience in turbine maintenance and operation will be beneficial
• Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of networking and hardware support.
• Must have a valid driver’s license

KPAs:

• Supervise maintenance employees in the Power Generation discipline to achieve maximum plant availability and equipment capacity
• Plan and supervise the daily work and performance of each employee on assigned shift, organize schedules, and assign work activity to achieve team and company objectives safely
• Monitor performance, support and advise teams in solving problems and/or taking corrective action
• Ensure Plant, Equipment and BOM information and WO’s are captured accurately within Maximo
• Provide teams with necessary tools and equipment to perform work effectively
