SUMMARY:
Qualified Maintenance Foreman - North West based - FMCG industry. Must have 3 years post qualification and apprenticeship experience.
POSITION INFO:
Salary: Rneg to market related salary.
National organisation requires an experienced and qualified artisan for their Maintenance Foreman role based in the North West Province
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Assist with planning, staffing issues, ordering, loss control, and industrial relations.
- Supervision of all maintenance staff on a daily basis and the quality control of all work
- Planning for and allocation of all maintenance related work
- Ensuring that maintenance staff adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.
- Ensuring that all maintenance staff are adequately trained and informed of changes in work-related legislation
- Planning and coordination of projects
- General staff morale and discipline
- Formulation of rosters and controlling staff timekeeping.
- Accurate record keeping
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
- Maintenance Management Qualifications.
- Qualified Artisan.
- three year''''s of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment with specific experience managing the maintenance department.
- Must be computer literate
- Must be a South African Citizen
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong administrative skills
- Self-initiative, self-confident and firm personality
- Good attention to details
- Excellent planning, organising and time-management skills
