SUMMARY:
Our client a leader in the Tissue Paper manufacturing industry requires the services of a Maintenance Foreman to be based at our Converting Factory in Spartan Kempton Park

POSITION INFO:

As the Foreman, the successful candidate will be considered as a line manager of the Converting maintenance effort and with this is included but not limited to the following

Management of Maintenance Personnel

Training

Safety,

Budget,

Maintenance, and engineering within the department.

This candidate must be open to change and a team player who is also capable of encouraging and motivating his team while able to reduce and eliminate disciplinary issues by driving continuous improvement.

Good organizational skills, willingness to learn and grow, capable of adapting to change and prioritizing in a demanding environment will be a key attribute to make a success of the role.

Own Transport is essential.

A valid unendorsed driver’s license.

Able to work overtime and attend to call out if required

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

Certificate (N6, or N-Dip is highly advantageous) – (N4 considered where experience and attributes are met).

Trade tested Fitter or Fitter & Turner or Millwright.

A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a red seal artisan in a maintenance/plant environment.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance foreman/junior manager/superintendent.

Must have at least 5 years’ experience in FMCG environment.

Must have Tissue Converting or Packaging experience.
