POSITION INFO:

Maintenance Fitter -Food Processing - Montague Gardens - R25 000- 29 000 per month ctc

Food Manufacturing Plant seeks a Trade Tested Maintenance Fitter to carry out inspections as per Preventative maintenance schedule, report any discrepancies to the maintenance supervisor and raise corrective action job cards, complete ad hoc repairs and maintenance, ensure machinery is able to function safely and spare parts are requested timeously and ensure all tools are handled and maintained with care. You will do fault finding on all machinery, ensure maximum availability of equipment and utilities, participate in continuous improvement and optimization of preventative maintenance plans, assist with daily start-ups and mandatory start up checks and complete all repairs to the correct engineering standards, timeously and safely. You will be responsible for CMMS admin, raising and closing of job cards and assisting with training documents and operator training. Min N4, must be Trade Tested, 3yrs post Trade Test experience, 2years food factory experience.
