JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a leader in the recycling industry, is currently looking to employ an experienced Maintenance Fitter.

Note: Only local candidates to apply please.

Responsibilities:

Daily maintenance inspection of plants according to daily routine.
Follow maintenance schedules.
Reporting and fixing of faults and problems of equipment to your superior.
Perform active participation in planning and performing maintenance activities to rectify faults.
Perform stand-by duty after hours.
Maintain high standard of workmanship safety and housekeeping as well as company standard regulations, installations as per Government Regulations.
To perform other activities assigned by the Maintenance Manager relating to the maintenance functions.

Experience/ Qualifications:

Matric.
Trade tested Fitter.
Qualifications for Rigging, Work at heights, lock-out procedures are advantageous.
3 to 5 years relevant work experience.
