SUMMARY:
Our client in the Marine Telecommunications Industry, requires the services of a Maintenance Fitter in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha)

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities
· Daily maintenance inspection of plants according to daily routine.
· Follow maintenance schedules.
· Reporting of faults and problems of equipment to your superior.
· Perform active participation in planning and performing maintenance activities to rectify faults.
· Perform stand-by duty after hours.
· Maintain high standard of workmanship safety and housekeeping as well as company standard regulations, installations as per Government Regulations.
· To perform other activities assigned by the Maintenance Manager relating to the maintenance functions.

Requirements
· Matric.
· Trade tested Fitter.
· Qualifications for Rigging, Work at heights, lock-out procedures are advantageous.
· 3 to 5 years relevant work experience.
