POSITION INFO:

Well-established manufacturer of quality clay bricks seeks to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Maintenance Artisan at their plant near Kraaifontein.

For the position you would be required to have:

Trade tested Artisan (Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Millwright)
Minimum of N3 in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years'' maintenance experience with sound knowledge of rotating equipment
Physically fit and able to work at heights and confined spaces
Working knowledge of: motors, conveyors, compressors, centrifugal pumps and fans, gearboxes, box feeders, crushers, bearing installation & inspection, crushers
Computer literate
Code 08 driver''s licence

Responsibilities would include you to:

Plant inspections and report defects and unsafe practices
Preventative maintenance as per schedule
Conduct repairs to plant and machinery
Troubleshooting and resolution of problems
Manufacture and modify equipment to ensure maximum availability of plant
Planning and execution of projects
Standby
Housekeeping

Salary: R33k per month (negotiable)
