SUMMARY:
Maintenance Fitter & Turner

POSITION INFO:

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Preventative maintenance
  • Attend to breakdowns
  • Inspection of production support equipment
  • Steel fabrication work
  • PVC piping installations
  • Machine checks, hydraulic oil level, oil and water leaks (repair if necessary)
  • Attend to mechanical and hydraulic breakdowns
  • Lead machine preventative maintenance services including Robots
  • Preventative maintenance of part conveyors
  • Preventative maintenance of raw material mixersPreventative maintenance of production support equipment
  • Preventative maintenance of granulator equipment
  • Continuous improvement of plant equipment
  • Chiller water and normal cooling water PVC pipework distribution maintenance and modifications
  • Ensure machine lubrication systems fully functional
  • Mechanical and hydraulic repairs
  • Adherence to Health and Safety regulations
  • Housekeeping of work area

Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualified Fitter and Turner
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
  • Experience in a maintenance environment
  • Experience in steel fabrication from drawings
  • Arc welding experience
