SUMMARY:
Our client on the East Rand has an opportunity available for a Maintenance Electrician.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

3 years Trade tested Millwright N6 (Red Seal), National N Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with hands on experience.
Electrical experience
Mechanical experience
Pneumatics experience
PLC experience
5 years minimum experience
FMCG experience advantageous
Knowledge of mechanics and pneumatics
Technical problem-solving skills
Plastics knowledge (advantage, but not necessary)

KPAs:

To operate / fault find and repair all electrical equipment and manufacturing lines, auxiliary equipment, power supply networks and lighting of the factory.
Provide a full technical service on a planned maintenance basis in respect of all equipment installations in working hours and after hours.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve breakdowns or improvements in maintenance.
Take part in electrical installation and commissioning during modernization and reconstruction of production lines and auxiliary equipment.
Spare parts stock taking and ensuring communication to reorder when stock parts are used
Maintain the administration & documentation aspects of the maintenance department ensuring records are kept up to date and communicated to all concerned.
