SUMMARY:

Maintenance Electrician (Contract Position)

Large FMCG company based on the West Coast is currently in search of an experienced Electrician to perform maintenance-related functions which include fault finding, Implement reactive & preventative maintenance, Tend to equipment breakdowns, Implement equipment upgrades & enhancements, etc.

POSITION INFO:

Maintenance electrician experience and requirements

Must be a qualified, trade tested, red seal electrician
Must be able and willing to work shifts
Must have experience in the food manufacturing industry.
Must be able and willing to work in extremely cold conditions, heights, and confined spaces.
A 3-phase wireman’s license will be preferable.
(Not a requirement)

Maintenance electrician job specifications:

Implement reactive & preventative maintenance
Tend to equipment breakdowns
Implement equipment upgrades & enhancements
Fit distribution boards, motor control circuits (MCCs),
wiring systems & equipment
Inspected & tested distribution boards, MCCs,
wiring systems & equipment
Repair faulty distribution boards, MCCs, wiring systems
& equipment
Set programmable logical circuits (PLC''s). PLC control
circuits only. Programming experience is not required.
Ensure all electrical installations are compliant with
national regulations.
