Machinist

SUMMARY:
Our client has a vacancy for a qualified Machinist with experience on CNC Lathes and Milling Machines with Fanuc controls.  Candidates must have leadership qualities, be a team player and be prepared to work overtime at short notice.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a qualified and experienced machinist on CNC Lathes and Milling Machines with Fanuc controls
• Must have leadership qualities and be a team player
• Work with the workforce when the pressure is on, even if it means pushing them out of their comfort zone.
• Must be able to work overtime on short notice.

• Programming, setting and running CNC Lathes and Milling machines with Fanuc controls.
• Using conventional Lathes, Milling machines, Radial arm drills and other drilling machines.
• Use of measuring equipment
• Machine shop problem solving
• Repairs to the above machines
• Setting up work colleagues to run basic tasks on the above conventional equipment.
