Machinery Technician: Automation Customer Support

My Client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking for a Machinery technician to join their Team

POSITION INFO:

My Client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking for a Machinery technician to join their Team in Johannesburg.

This is a home based position that requires traveling to support customers and service machinery on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Electrical qualification with three phase certificate / Millwright Qualification highly advantageous
• Experience with Mechanical fault finding and problem solving
• Knowledge of all spheres of mechanical systems, including pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experience with Electrical fault finding and problem solving
• Knowledge of PLCs and PCI based IO systems
• Experience with VFD''s , Servomotors, Stepper motors and implementation into automation machines
• Knowledge of PC hardware, windows and basics of linux
• Basic computer coding skills would be an advantage
• Good customer relationship skills

The position is for technical back up and support for Company manufactured machinery in Johannesburg and other areas. Travelling may be involved
