SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive Sector has an opportunity available for a Machine Setter to be based in the Durban area. This will be a temporary position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  • Basic and advanced setting knowledge
  • Able to operate over-head crane
  • Basic knowledge of locating and clamping of tools
  • Knowledge of hot-runner systems, hydraulic and bar ejector systems
  • Able to troubleshoot under minimal supervision
  • Excellent knowledge of automotive components and quality associated with it
  • Able to identify non-conforming products and  processes
  • Knowledge of ELIS practices and policies
  • Able to set up moulds from 1-ton to 30-tons
