SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive Sector has an opportunity available for a Machine Setter to be based in the Durban area. This will be a temporary position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Basic and advanced setting knowledge
Able to operate over-head crane
Basic knowledge of locating and clamping of tools
Knowledge of hot-runner systems, hydraulic and bar ejector systems
Able to troubleshoot under minimal supervision
Excellent knowledge of automotive components and quality associated with it
Able to identify non-conforming products and processes
Knowledge of ELIS practices and policies
Able to set up moulds from 1-ton to 30-tons
