SUMMARY:
Client based in East London is looking for Machine Line Operator
Individuals that will be able to fault find on CNC machines and fix them, and also when the production line is running smoothly they will be operating the machine lines.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
• Must-read Product quality Plan, have product drawings, BOM, machine setup, Batch Number, and operation Card, product change form before startup. The machines are not to be run without all of the before mentioned.
• Must have Hourly checks sheets, Daily scrap sheets,
• Must be aware of production ordered on operation card, minus the numbers produced daily from the outstanding total, but adding the scrap to the outstanding amount. This will inform all operators when the production card is completed (do not overrun, ask for a new operation card).
• Make sure all boxes are palletized and packed neatly and marked accordingly, when at the working station or being moved to a new processing location
• Must mark all pallets produced with approved for production notices to identify each order number and pallet qty.
• Make sure area is neat and tidy and maintained to 5s std at all times
• Report scrap issues or machine problems immediately to supervisor and Quality Manager for repair or via documentation provided for deviations if necessary to correct the issue at hand, no boxes to be sent to rework station for sorting, must be sorted by the operator then sent for rework to the correct station.
• If a mask is not reparable then report the fault (operation card 010) and dispose of the mask end of shift.
• Run at required scrap rate 0.6%
• Remove all unwanted and unnecessary raw materials from the working area and have them returned to the warehouse when not in use, packed on pallets marked with required documentation
• Goods returned to Warehouse must be reported to the warehouse manager for quality testing or to be placed back correctly.
• Clean extractors and bins and dispose of correctly in the main bin when required and make sure the area is clean and ready for the next shift according to 5S
• Make sure you have a shift change, exchange of information, and a check to see the area is left up to 5s STD and TPM is done before accepting to work at the station.
• All production to be entered into the Garp system by the operator on shift. (010)
• Are required to assist in keeping the valve printing machine functional on every shift.
• Required to support the packing line when necessary
