MILLWRIGHT MANAGER - AGRICULTURE

SUMMARY:
Mumbwa Area – Zambia: Our client requires a qualified millwright manager to diagnose processes and repair machinery & equipment to join their international team

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• N3 Certificate / millwright qualification or trade certificate / diploma or relevant

• Red seal trade test certificate highly advantageous

• Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics and their applications

• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans.

• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses or alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

• Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one

• Proven experience working with pneumatic cleaners and gravity tables and PLC experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Know and understand the plant and equipment design and technical specifications and standards

• Need to understand and manage the spare components/parts supply chain.

• Measure and report.

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

• Inspect drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.

• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blue prints, repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.

• Health and Safety.

Implement equipment upgrades & enhancements

Dismantle, fit & assemble machinery & metal parts

Electrical fault finding and repairs

OEE – make sure machine efficiency is achieved
