JOB DESCRIPTION:

A healthcare facility in Northcliff Johannesburg requires a skilled Assistant Manager for a Healthcare centre.  You will assist the manager to oversee all aspects of the facility. This role requires a skilled individual with exceptional people skills, communication skills, and management skills. This role needs an individual with good timekeeping abilities who is organized and works in a planned and forward-thinking manner. You must have a good understanding of the operations, policies, and procedures of a healthcare facility. Good Interpersonal, public relations and people skills are essential. You need to be computer literate and must have excellent administration skills.

You must always have the best interest of the patient in mind. Adhering to the company culture is crucial to ensure a successful practice and a great working environment for employees.  The ability to work well as part of a team is crucial.  

As the Assistant manager, you will oversee and manage the facility with the Manager.  You will oversee the building, security, and equipment (both medical and not) as well as the garden and area outside the building. You will assist with the maintenance of equipment such as computers, healthcare devices, and more. You will further assist with the oversight of the security of the premises.

You will assist with the coordination of healthcare professionals and departmental managers to constantly determine what the facility needs, work with human resources to set and maintain adherence to HR policies and participate in training and drills for all staff.

Salary will be linked to experience and skill. 

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 
  • Management / Other relevant qualification will be beneficial
  • Own Reliable Transportation and Drivers License
  • Excellent Management Skills
  • Assertive yet approachable 
  • Great Timekeeping
  • Must be organised with good communication skills
  • Good track record
  • Experience working as a practice manager, or similar role in the medical field 
  • Honest and Ethical
  • Computer Literate
