POSITION INFO:

Title: Practice and Billing Administrator (Existing Role)
Position Type: Full-Time
Location: Multiple sites - Hatfield, Wapadrand, and Centurion (Predominantly based in Hatfield, with occasional visits to the other locations, approximately once a week)
Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00
On Call: 2 weekends a month (can work remotely to assist with emergency admissions and theatre-related tasks)
Compensation: R16,000 CTC/Month + 13th Cheque
Leave: 15 days per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assistance: Answering calls for appointments and queries, responding to emails.
• Billing: Handling basic billing tasks, including ICD10 and Procedure Codes for consultations and theatre procedures.
• Administrative Support: Compiling and filing patient records, assisting with medical reports and motivations.
• Liaison Duties: Communicating with service providers.
• Accounts Management: Following up on outstanding patient accounts, processing patient payments.
• Reporting: Assisting with monthly reports.

Reports to: Practice Manager

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Matric (NSC) or Similar
• Minimum 3 years of medical practice billing experience
• Computer literacy (experience with Vericlaim or similar medical billing software; training will be provided for Vericlaim), proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Basic IT skills (ability to troubleshoot printers and WiFi connections)
• Drivers License and Vehicle
