MECHATRONIC ENGINEER / ROBOT PROGRAMMER - Worcester, Western Cape, - R40,000-R50,000 per month CTC
Looking for a skilled and energetic engineer to improve and manage our Robot Welding, Cutting, Milling, and Machining operations and procedures. Will be involved in continuous improvement of current projects as well as leading the robot programming team.
Job description:
Set up, Program and improve new and existing machinery
Extract management data from existing programs and report to relevant department managers
Write and debug robotics programs
Investigate system, equipment, or product failures and escalate these problems when necessary
Compiling documentation such as SOP and maintenance procedures
Manage long-term projects as well as day-to-day activities
R&D of new robot jigs and continuous improvement projects
Requirements:
Must have a degree or Diploma in Mechatronic /Mechanical/Electronic Engineering
Able to work under pressure
