MARKETING MANAGER REAL ESTATE / PROPRERTY

POSITION INFO:

Well established Real Estate Company is seeking a Marketing Manager to drive the day to day marketing functions, brand strategy & positioning and oversee the overall performance of the Marketing Department.    The successful Candidate will assists with advert content design and creation, marketing strategy implementation, and provides print / delivery / and the interface with 3^rd party advertisers to support and ensure the effective running of a number of the Company’s 26 Branches in KZN.

Required Skills / Qualifications

• A vibrant, energetic, outgoing personality that is both creative, detail orientated, highly driven with a strong desire to achieve the goals set out.
• Qualifications should include Tertiary Qualifications of either a Degree in Marketing or National Diploma in Marketing Management or courses similar from accredited institutions.
• A minimum of 5 years Marketing Management experience in a related field or similar is required.
• An interest or good understanding of the world of residential property and how it functions, especially in KZN.
• An excellent communicator capable of organising and managing a marketing department. Communication skills must include confidence with oral presentations and written interaction with various company clients while also being able to share the company marketing vision and strategy amongst the various offices and sales teams.
• Bring a fresh new outlook and approach to Residential Real Estate with an ability to learn, willingness to grow, and a forward thinking creative mind-set to add value in marketing strategy and its roll out.
• Excellent understanding of all social media platforms and confidence to position the Company at the forefront of maximising the returns from them.
• A sound understanding of Search Engine Optimisation, Residential Property Search Portals, Website Maintenance.
• A self driven, self starter, motivated individual who loves seeing a project through from concept creation, to implementation, and to market research to show the set objectives have been achieved.
• Strong PR ability, digital literacy, plus the people skills to work effectively with outside agencies and service providers.
• The ability to both create and design advert content when required with a keen eye for imagery and content creation concepts.

 Management Responsibilities

• Meeting and interacting with senior Company Management to oversee new marketing strategy, implementation and roll out from both a company and branch level.
• Understanding and implementing marketing plans for each branch in order for them to compete effectively in their areas of operation with follow up research thereafter to gauge the effectiveness of the campaign.
• Development of both digital and print aids to assist the Company sales team to position them as a market leader in their area of operation.
• To manage the Marketing Department personnel in meeting all daily requirements and action plan implementation.
• To assist with property exhibition planning, stand creation and implementation.
• To create marketing plans for both new Developments and offices in securing future business opportunities.
• To provide regular updates to the Marketing Director on progress and implementation of approved plans.
• To action the organisation of regular company events such as quarterly awards functions and financial year end conferences.
• Cost management of the Marketing Department from marketing materials / items purchased, product review analysis and updated pricing versus quality of materials, agreements with advertisers and the management and negotiation of those.
