Marketing Administrator - East London Campus

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Commerce and Marketing, honours degree preferable
• Experience: minimum of 1 year working experience with marketing, IP, research and events organizing.

Main purpose / objective

The main purpose of this position is to market university IP in social media platforms, produce a newsletter, organize awareness, IP exhibitions and catalyst lunch. Record all successful stories from university inventors, funding attracted, profiling university IP, and daily administrative task for the office. 

Key job functions

IP Marketing: 

• Assist both the IP & Innovation Manager and TTO in East London and Alice campus with marketing the university IP portfolio, this include ensuring that university research is well known and innovation successes. Further, organize catalyst lunch for innovators and industry.

IP Awareness:

• Assist in organizing awareness campaigns where necessary

Office administration:

• Assist both the Manager in East London and the TTO in Alice with the facilitation of logistics of the TTO operations (e.g. travel, meetings, etc)
