MANAGER SHORT TERM INSURANCE LADYBRAND

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS: Appropriate post matric qualification. 5 years managerial experience. 5 years’ experience in a short-term insurance environment (agricultural, commercial and personal-lines). Experience in a crop insurance environment will be an advantage. Thorough understanding of applicable FAIS legislation as well as FAIS accredited (NQF5, RE1, RE5). Valid drivers license. RESPONSIBILITIES: Management of the short-term insurance business plan. Management of short-term insurance finances. Management of customer service. Management of sourcing new business. Management of retaining current business. SKILLS: Computer literate (MS Office). Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English. Strong analytical skills. Strong negotiation skills. Must be able to thrive under pressure. The ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and to motivate staff. Excellent understanding of short-term insurance.
