SUMMARY:
To plan, schedule and monitor scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of all equipment and components for industrial plants which includes crushing, grinding, and packaging.
POSITION INFO:
Duties:
â–ª The incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance planning functions of plants in the Vaal and East Rand. Travelling to East Rand plant will be required on alternate days of the week.
â–ª Detailed task planning and scheduling in the SAP PM module for planned maintenance activities.
â–ª Developing detailed maintenance plans for major equipment shutdowns and performing cycle time compression on these plans.
â–ª Updating and reviewing of the Master Data in the SAP CMMS.
â–ª Continuous housekeeping of the SAP CMMS system.
â–ª Organisation of SAP work orders system by effectively managing work orders, notifications and the backlog.
â–ª Liaising with the procurement department to arrange the necessary spares and external labour required for successful job completion.
Qualifications and experience:
â–ª Recognised Electrician or Millwright trade qualification.
â–ª 10 years plant maintenance related experience.
â–ª Experience in detailed task planning and scheduling in the SAP PM module.
â–ª Valid driver’s license
â–ª Excellent knowledge of SAP maintenance system.
â–ª Excellent communication, planning, organising and administrative skills.
â–ª Good interpersonal and communication skills.
