JOB DESCRIPTION:

Maintenance Planner/Scheduler for bottling plant  

Paarl, Cape Winelands - Salary Negotiable 

 

FMCG Company seeks a Maintenance Planner for their production facility, to be responsible for creating and maintaining a well-organized Engineering maintenance system that will enhance equipment reliability throughout its life cycle. Implementing of both strategic preventative maintenance tasks and unscheduled maintenance tasks. Planning and scheduling of the relevant Engineering activities. Provide administrative functions within the technical department

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Qualified Artisan or National diploma in Asset Care

Minimum 3 year asset care experience after qualification obtained

Excellent computer skills (Word / Excel / Power point /SAP PM System)

3-5 years’ experience in an engineering / production environment

Good communication skills (English & Afrikaans)

Experienced in Electronic maintenance systems

 

Job Summary:

 

Coordinate the implementation of the Asset Management Strategy

Ensure the long term integrity of equipment and systems

Facilitate failure investigations

Predictive maintenance data by condition monitoring results and monitoring to ensure section engineers and engineering controls are taking appropriate action

Ensure trends and abnormalities are identified, reported and communicated to all concerned

Compile relevant asset management performance indicator report s

Manage the integrity of the maintenance management system

Manage the maintenance system, ensuring operational and date integrity and correct use of the system

Using the maintenance planning system, generate the routine maintenance schedules. This should include required cleaning, lubrication, inspections, tanks etc.

Facilitate and lead the planned maintenance pre- meetings

Where problems have occurred during routine or planned maintenance activities, apply the correct problem solving approach to resolve.

 

 

Skills Required:

 

Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality in a production environment

Good knowledge of quality systems, ISO 9001

Excellent administration skills

Root cause analysis

Ability to work under pressure
