M&A Attorney - Gauteng - Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

Our well-established client, within the financial sector, is looking to employ a M&A Attorney to join their team at their Johannesburg offices.

Requirements:

Must have 2 years experience in M&A and/or corporate law
Experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, corporate compliance, corporate structures and negotiating
Prior experience in drafting commercial agreements
Sound judgement, outstanding analytical and contractual skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to take initiative
Confident

Duties (but not limited to):

Draft contracts and analyse terms of agreements
Draft technical opinions
Provide practical legal advice and risk assessment
Meeting of deadlines
Invoice clients and tracking billables
Assist Line Manager/Director when requested
