Opportunity Available!! Our well known client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Logistics Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Queenstown.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Monitor & rectify driver discipline
Monitor overtime and headcounts (TEMPS) daily
Analyze data to plan & improve cost savings
Communication – Social Systems
Load Plan Execution – 100% Load execution
Documentation control
Assets utilization
Reverse Logistics Opportunities
Understand Driver Recruitment Criteria -minimum Matric
Driver Documents in place (PrdP, license)
Team dynamics/ Driver Communication/ Weekly Meetings
Briefing (B) & Debriefing (D)
Strike Contingency plan
Performance management – Driver scorecard in place and updated weekly – Driver room UPDATED weekly
KPI’s measured & regular updates on VPM boards (Visual Performance Management)
Possesses in place to enable us to measure drivers
Drivers Reward & Recognition
Vehicle & driver licensing and COF
All employees to wear PPE
Driving hour control
Setting up and running a budget
R&M and Tire Management
Negotiating with suppliers

Job Requirements:

Must have 4 years’ experience in Logistics Environment
Grade12
Microsoft Office Experience (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
