POSITION INFO:

Our Client who delivers a high Quality Magnetite solutions tailored and Railway products to the railways and Mining Industry is seeking an experienced Site Foreman near Middelburg, Mpumalanga.

As a Site Foreman you will be responsible for Supervision of Operational Activities, Customer and Supplier Relationship Management, reporting and monitoring functions and general ad-hoc duties.

Minimum Experience:

• 2 - 5 Years experience in a Supervisory Role
• Experience or exposure in a Logistics Environment
• Tertiary Degree or Diploma
• Gr 12

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to operate in a multicultural Environment
• Proficiency in MS Office especially Word and Excel
• Proficiency in Sage
• Fluency in English

Main Job Functions:

• General Supervision of the Companies Production areas (Bagging, Train Off Loading, Weighbridge Control)
• Report Safety Related incidents to Operations Manager and SHEQ Officer.
• Co-Ordinate activities to ensure minimal interruptions of the Milling Plant.
• Monitor the completion of the maintenance check list operating vehicles and Machinery.
• Arrange for repairs on reported faults on Machinery and Operating Vehicles.
• Purchasing of Goods and Services.
• Analysing Magnetite Samples on Malvern.
• Monthly Wages.
• Housekeeping.

Permanent Position

Location: 31.8 km outside Middelburg.

Salary: Between R28 000 - R40 000 per month depending on experience
