SUMMARY:
A well-established chemical raw materials company requires the above to manage and coordinate all logistical aspects of shipments from the purchase order date to the point of goods receivable into the various warehouse sites for imports and exports.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

BCom (Hons) in logistics or related degree is preferred.
Previous experience having worked in a logistics role is preferred but not essential as the company is happy to train a graduate with a logistics qualification who has no experience into the role.
Working knowledge of ERP Software sap or related is preferred.
Must be proficiency in Microsoft office programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Managing and coordinating all logistical aspects of shipments from the purchase order date to the point of goods receivable into the various warehouse sites for imports and exports.
Ensuring all required and necessary paperwork are timelessly received and processed onto the system.
Ensuring all shipping relevant supporting documents are in order.
Liaising with shipping companies in terms of when product will be expected in the various countries.
Working closely with the sales team as well as with the procurement and warehousing teams.
Scanning orders into computer and tracking shipments across multiple channels.
Managing and monitoring the routing and scheduling planning of product.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
