Logistics Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Our Client is requiring a go-getter sales specialist who can analyse the market and open new doors within our clients highly successful Logistic/Transport business. Excellent opportunity to earn good commission and grow this new division alongside the Regional Sales & Marketing.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric

3 – 5 Years’ experience in sales looking for new business

A client base within the FMCG, agricultural and manufacturing sector will be highly advantageous

Ability to research and find the right opportunities

Confident and well spoken in both English and Afrikaans essential

Team player 

Self-managed taking full ownership of your functions and achieving the required results

Valid Driver’s License and Own Transport

DUTIES:

Sourcing and hunting for new leads

Canvassing for new business by cold calling and market research

Starting a new customer portfolio as an extension of current business plan

Research on relevant companies and making contacts

Confidently portraying the benefits of what the company has to offer

Setting up of appointments 

Qualifying customers needs

Attending meetings with Sales Manager and Mentor

Managing quotations

Follow up calls with clients visited

Closely working with leads and managing details on the CRM system

General administration required within the sales department

After service sales and continually growing relationships

Salary: R dependent on experience
